Our signature kombucha, citrus cascade, gets most of its delicate flavour from our wonderful green teas but we also add cascade hops during the primary fermentation adding a citrusy note.

We brew using a bespoke blend of green teas from some of the best tea plantations in China, all ethically traded by our partners at rare tea company.  They only work with farmers using organic principles who don’t use chemical pesticide or herbicides.

Our Kombucha is brewed and barrel-fermented in our nano brewery situated on Nania’s Vineyard in central Bristol, we have perfected a can-conditioning process and hand-can our kombucha in small batches.  We make an authentic kombucha that is RAW and alive inside.  It’s very much the real deal and we’re so confident in the provenance of our brew that we offer a S.C.O.B.Y guarantee.  If you can’t grow your own kombucha culture using one of our cans we will l happily refund your purchase.  Click the link to find out more!

WHERE IS NANIA’S?

Nania’s Kombucha is brewed in Bristol at our nano-brewery in Montpelier. Our small, intimate brewery sits alongside our urban allotment vineyard, where we experiment with small-batch fermentation and hone our craft. This unique setting inspires our innovative approach to kombucha brewing.

ALIVE INSIDE

Unlike many so-called kombuchas on the market that are essentially vinegar-based soft drinks, Nania’s Kombucha is a genuine, living ferment. Our kombucha is RAW and teeming with beneficial cultures, making it truly alive inside every can. We’re so confident in the authenticity of our brew that we offer a SCOBY guarantee – if you can’t grow your own kombucha culture using one of our cans, we’ll happily refund your purchase.

BARREL FERMENTED AND CAN CONDITIONED

We are the only kombucha producer making can-conditioned kombucha, a distinction recognised with two Great Taste awards for our signature Citrus Cascade brew. Our small-batch process uses oak barrels for perfect micro-oxygenation, followed by careful can-conditioning for natural carbonation. This artisanal method yields a sophisticated drink unmatched by mass-produced offerings.  Naturally, our living kombucha requires refrigeration – a true sign of its authentic, cultured nature.

PURE INGREDIENTS & ETHICAL SOURCING

We use only the finest tea from our partners at Rare Tea Company, chosen for their commitment to ethical trade and sustainable farming practices. Our kombucha contains just four ingredients: green tea, cascade hops, organic cane sugar, and our SCOBY (living culture). We’re proud to give 1% of our sales to the Rare Charity, supporting education scholarships in tea-growing communities.
