6 cans of our award winning Sussex Spritzers. Our classic English Rosé Spritzers are made from a fine rosé wine produced from the Rondo grape. Grown in Sussex at Off the Line vineyard, Rondo is very well suited to our cool climate as it’s an early ripener. Its berries have a deep red flesh and the rosé wine we’ve produced is bursting with summer fruit notes and provides a vibrant base for our light and refreshing spritzer – summer in a can! To complement our English rosé we have added a touch of raspberry shrub from our friends at the Bristol Syrup Company. Then, to make it extra refreshing and thoroughly quaffable we’ve added a touch of sparkle and blended it all with crystal clear Glastonbury spring water drawn from the legendary spring beneath Glastonbury Tor – magical water, steeped in myths and heroes!
Did we mention we won a GREAT TASTE AWARD! Here are the judges tasting notes: “ A good depth of pink tonality is immediately suggestive of a rosé wine, and the nose is again soundly vinous. The raspberry on the nose is delicate, in good balance with grape notes. The palate is instantly attractive: nicely dry, with the merest hint of fruit-carrying sweetness; the acidity, thanks perhaps to the shrub, has a rounded, unaggressive complexity. The effervescence is gently refreshing. This is a well-balanced spritzer, carefully considered in terms of both taste and flavour, and would work well both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to light dishes.
