Come and join us for a unique afternoon/evening filled with fermentation knowledge and practice on our allotment vineyard in Montpellier, Central Bristol (BS6 5EG)
We are opening up our allotment vineyard for 3 very special evenings in June and we’re calling it Nania’s and Friends Summer Series.
Alongside, me, James Bayliss-Smith – Chief Kombucha Brewer, Allotment Vigneron and founder of Nania’s we will be joined by 3 special guests (one each week see below for schedule) who will share their wide knowledge of fermentation for your delectation
The workshop will be in 4 parts and run from 3PM – 8PMish and included a sourdough pizza dinner. It will be very informal and freewheeling with lots of opportunity for questions and discussion. The rough plan is as follows
(1) Welcome drink / Kombucha sampling / Vineyard & Nano Brewery Tour
(2) Kombucha making Workshop – learn all about Kombucha, Properly Brewing tea and successfully making kombucha at home. We will spill the beans on our barrel fermentation process and send you home with a kombucha mother culture so you can carry on brewing successfully in the comfort of your home.
(3) Dinner! Sourdough Pizza Talk and Pizza making workshop, Allotment Wine tasting – We will eat pizza cooked in our wonderful cob pizza oven and drink wine made from out allotment grapes! I’ll teach you everything you need to know about sourdough pizza making at home and will equip you with my workflow to make absolutely banging pizza in your home oven. You will also leave with some of my sourdough starter so you can continue your practice at home.
*Please note we cannot cater for gluten free but properly fermented sourdough pizza can be easy on gluten intolerant people
